"The scriptural call to love our brothers and sisters is clear. Our lives will be measured by the extent to which we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the ill and imprisoned." .....Matthew 25:37-40 Please remember to mark your calendar for Food Pantry Sunday. Bring canned and boxed foods and household items to the Lord's Table that they may be shared with those most in need within our community. Some of the items that are always most in need are: Peanut butter, crackers, soups, macaroni & cheese, diapers, soap (bath, dish, and laundry), toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. Anything that you need in your pantry and cleaning closet are needed at the Food Pantry. There is a special collection on the 3rd Sunday of each month (except during Lent) for the Needy Fund. The Needy Fund is used to help meet emergency needs. These funds have been used to help pay rent, utilities, transportation costs, etc. Unfortunately there are always more needs than there are funds. We encourage your generosity for our brothers and sisters in need. Nota Bene: During Lent the Needy Fund collection is replaced by the Alms that are brought to the Lord's Table on Holy Thursday at the Mass of the Lord's Supper.
