A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
During the season of Advent we reflect on the three fold COMING of Christ in our life. Christ came to us in HISTORY two thousand years ago, which we celebrate as the feast of Christmas. We also prepare to celebrate Christ’s coming in MAJESTY at the end of the world. Scripture tells us that we do not know the day or the hour when this will happen, but Christ will indeed come to us in MAJESTY. The third coming of Christ that we prepare for is Christ coming to us in MYSTERY. Christ comes to us every moment of our life and he knocks on the door of our soul for entrance. Let the Lord in!
It seems to me that in the season of Advent we want to WELCOME our Lord into lives in HISTORY, MYSTERY AND MAJESTY. Yes, let us welcome Christ in our hearts and lives. Let us be open to his holy coming and be transformed into his image. Come Lord Jesus.The season of Advent is also a wonderful time to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation. We will provide extended times for this sacrament of healing.In the Risen Christ,
